ADA MISSION

To facilitate a community of member distributors who share and help resolve common business problems, engage in mutually beneficial programs that help promote business growth all within an atmosphere of friendship and cooperation.

A Brief History of ADA

The AIRCO Distributor Association (ADA) was formed in 1993 by combining the existing Airdane and MAAD purchasing organizations in partnership with BOC Gases. The original purpose of the ADA was to pool the purchasing power of members to achieve the best possible resale hard good and operating asset vendor pricing. In recent years the organization has expanded to include:

Forums where members can discuss and resolve common business issues
Joint marketing programs that improve sales effectiveness
Private branding initiatives

The ADA currently has 120 members and represents approximately 20% of the total US market for welding hard goods and gases. Our members range from large, well established distributors to small, young start-ups. BOC, formerly known as AIRCO, is the US industrial gases supplier to ADA members.
